Unlike most others who have the PS2 as their favorite console, I didn't grow up with it, well kinda. My parents had a PS2 when I was a kid, but sold it when we moved out of our old place, so I had access to a PS2 until I was 7, so I have some nostalgia for it, however most of the games that I've played on it, I've done so wayyy later.
And the keywords here are, emulation + re-releases, at first I got my hands on a lot of PS2 classics from re-release, so for example Persona 4, Final Fantasy 7, Budokai 3 and God of War.
I really got into PS2 games around 3 Years ago when I got a pc that could emulate PS2 games and oh boy, play I did with this station. As an RPG guy the PS2 is just heaven on earth, so many classics have either started here or had their best entry on here, I am talking bout Final Fantasy, SMT, Persona, Disgaea and so many more.
I've still got so many PS2 games, I wanna play, it feels like it's library is endless. Even right now, as of the time I'm writing this here, I am playing a PS2 game at the moment, Disgaea 3.
Oh and it's also home to my favorite game of all time, Persona 3 FES.
