So I finally showed the site to my girlfriend and her reaction was... Absolutely positive at first, she was kind of startled to see it and even had to ask if it's mine, which made me feel flattered of ocurse!
But then, tragedy struck! The about me page, the crown jewel of my website didn't work properly on her device, I tried fix it by changing the way it scales, but I am just too bad at html to do that, yet, so after a few attempts I just reverted to change the image sized by about 20% which did the trick.
This just made it clear to me how much of a pipe dream it is for me to ever make this site mobile compatible and tbh, I kinda don't give a shit about mobile, the true web surfing experience is on the desktop anyway.
So yeah, instead of taking a break, I ended up trying to fix the site for an hour and now I am also writing another blog, great... Honestly, yeah, great! I had fun fixing the issue. Afterwards my girlfriend called the website a sunrise, which I thought was an endearing way of saying it's still in the early stages of development, give it some time to bloom!
Now my website is officially girlfriend approved!!!
